In Loving Memory of
Riley Joseph Hoven
Riley's story: Riley Hoven’s story began at RAF Lakenheath in England and unfolded with a quiet strength that touched everyone around him. Growing up in Nebraska, he became known for his integrity, kindness, and steady leadership—qualities that guided him through his service in the Air Force. He flew aboard the RC-135 “RJ” and volunteered for challenging missions with humility and dedication. His potential was recognized when he was selected to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy, where his open-door approach made him a trusted friend and mentor. Even when faced with a serious medical diagnosis, Riley met each challenge with courage and resilience, graduating from the Academy in 2024.
Beyond his military excellence, Riley loved life’s simple joys—golfing, cooking for friends and family, cheering for college baseball, and celebrating Nebraska football. His warmth and sincerity created a lasting impact, honored by his classmates with the “Open-Door Award” for his welcoming spirit. Through the Sent to Live Foundation, Riley’s legacy lives on, inspiring others to embody the same compassion, presence, and wholehearted way of living that defined his life.
